Manchester United to offload Anthony Martial?

Martial to Tottenham Hotspur?

Manchester United could part ways with Anthony Martial with the imminent arrival of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.

Martial had a disappointing 2020/21 season with the Red Devils, registering just seven goals from 38 appearances.

He was in-and-out of the line-up during the back end of the season, and The Mirror reports that he could be sold.

The club are ready to pay a fee of around £80m for Sancho, and they plan to recoup part of the funds from Martial's sale.

Martial dropped down the pecking order earlier this year as Edinson Cavani was regularly preferred ahead of him up front.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba and Mason Greenwood were picked ahead of him for the wide attacking roles.

The arrival of Sancho could reduce his game time further, and the Red Devils are open to the prospect of offloading him.

The former Monaco graduate is reportedly on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur, who are still without a permanent manager.
