Arsenal could be handed the chance to re-sign midfielder Aaron Ramsey in a swap deal involving Folarin Balogun.

Ramsey spent 11 seasons with the Gunners. He left them on a free transfer to join Juventus in the summer of 2019.

He has since failed to establish himself with the Serie A giants, and is deemed surplus to requirements at the moment.

According to Calciomercato, Ramsey is eager to rejoin the Gunners, and he is prepared to lower his salary demands.

It is added that the Bianconeri are interested in Balogun, and could offer Ramsey in an exchange deal for the striker.

Balogun signed a fresh five-year contract earlier this year. The teenager turned down interest from 15 clubs to extend his stay.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has huge plans ahead for the marksman, and it is highly unlikely that the club will consider his exit.

Meanwhile, a separate report from Goal.com has claimed that the Gunners have no plans of re-signing Ramsey this summer.

The club have moved on from the 30-year-old. They are looking to recruit younger players with valuable experience.
