Guendouzi to join Marseille

Arsenal have reportedly agreed to loan out Matteo Guendouzi to Marseille with the obligation to buy next summer.

The Frenchman was deemed surplus to requirements last term as he was loaned out to Hertha Berlin.

He has another two years left on his contract, but the Gunners are happy to part ways for good.

Marseille have been in constant negotiations, and they have now reached an agreement to sign him.

According to journalist Mohamed Toubache-Ter, Guendouzi will join on an initial loan with the obligation to buy.

The Gunners will receive £9.4m for the midfielder next summer.

William Saliba will also link up with Guendouzi at Marseille next season.

The Gunners have decided to loan out Saliba for another campaign.

He is still regarded as part of their future plans. There is no option for Marseille to buy the centre-back.

There could be more outgoings in the coming weeks. Granit Xhaka has been widely tipped to join AS Roma.
