Chelsea make club-record bid for Euro 2020 winner

Chiesa wanted by Chelsea

Chelsea have made a club-record bid to sign Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa, Bild reporter Christian Falk claims.

The Blues are keen on bolstering their frontline this summer, and Chiesa has been identified as one of their top targets.

The club recently lodged a formal bid of around €100m for the forward, but their advances were immediately rejected.

Chiesa is currently on loan at Juventus from Fiorentina, but the former have the obligation to buy him for €40m next summer.

The Serie A giants consider him as 'untouchable' and they have no plans to sell him at any price in the ongoing transfer window.

Chiesa had an exceptional debut season for the Bianconeri last term, registering 15 goals and 11 assists from 46 outings.

He carried over the form to the Euros with Italy. He netted two goals and was a constant threat against England in the final.

Chiesa is also on the radar of Bayern Munich, but the Bianconeri are unlikely to entertain any offers for the Euro 2020 champion.
