West Ham United favourites to sign 23-year-old Chelsea star
West Ham United are favourites to sign Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham this summer, Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur claims.
The England international was the Blues' joint top-scorer last term with 12 goals, but he played just 16 minutes in the final three months.
He is reportedly deemed surplus to requirements, and Konur claims that the Hammers are leading the hunt to land his signature.
Hammers boss David Moyes has previously indicated that the club can't afford the £40m price tag for the Blues graduate.
However, the club are still optimistic of striking an agreement by paying a lesser fee up front for the 23-year-old marksman.
The Hammers will be playing in the Europa League group stage for the first-time ever, and they need more firepower up front.
Michail Antonio is the only specialist striker available. He has done a credibe job, but has struggled with regular niggles in recent years.
Abraham could relish joining the Hammers. He is keen to push for World Cup selection through regular game time at his next club.
