Manchester United favourites to sign Ruben Neves
Manchester United are favourites ahead of Arsenal to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves this summer.
The Portuguese has been with the Midlands outfit for the past four years, but he could be sold to recoup funds for new signings.
Wolves valued him in the region of £50 million last summer, but they are now prepared to sell him for around £35m.
According to talkSPORT, the Red Devils have moved ahead of the Gunners in the pursuit of the defensive midfielder.
Both clubs have been in contact with his agent Jorge Mendes, but United have shown the most interest in signing him.
The club are braced for the potential exit of Paul Pogba. Neves could be a handy replacement with his vast Premier League experience.
Pogba is attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain. With less than 12 months left on his contract, he could be sold for just £43m.
Les Parisiens have already made contact with his representative Mino Raiola, and are currently negotiating personal terms.
