Tammy Abraham states his wage demands for transfer
Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has stated his wage demands amid interest from Arsenal and West Ham United.
The England international was the Blues' joint top-scorer last season with 12 goals, but he played just 16 minutes between March and May.
He has now been deemed surplus to requirements, and Football Insider claims that the Blues could sell him for around £35 million.
Both Gunners and Hammers are interested in his services, but Abraham is likely to demand a significant wage rise for the transfer.
He is currently on wages of £50,000-a-week. He plans to demand a sizeable increase of £80,000 over a five-year contract.
Chelsea are keen on landing an elite striker this summer, and they are looking at various options in the transfer market.
They seem unlikely to sign Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland, who is reportedly valued at a staggering £150m.
Former striker Romelu Lukaku has been identified as the alternative option. They could lure him from Inter Milan for around £108m.
The deal won't be straightforward as Lukaku appears keen on staying with the Nerazzurri despite the departure of Antonio Conte.
