Liverpool to move for Manchester United midfield target?
Liverpool could reportedly make a big-money move for Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham next summer.
The Reds made just one high-profile signing in Ibrahima Konate this summer with the main focus being on contract renewals.
According to The Star, the Merseyside giants are likely to prioritise a marquee midfield signing during next summer's transfer window.
Bellingham has been identified as the prime transfer target, and the Reds are prepared to break their transfer record with an £80m bid.
Manchester United are also admirers of the 18-year-old, having previously failed to sign him from Birmingham City last year.
However, they are likely to prioritise a move for his teammate Erling Braut Haaland. The Reds may have a free run at Bellingham.
Bellingham has previously been linked with Chelsea, but they now appear to have switched their attention to Monaco's Aurelien Tchouameni.
The Blues are evaluating his progress at Monaco this term. They have their sights on landing his services at the end of the season.
