Arsenal interested in Zenit St Petersburg star?
Arsenal are reportedly among the contenders to sign Zenit St Petersburg striker Sardar Azmoun at the end of the campaign.
Azmoun has been with Zenit since February 2019, bagging 58 goals and 20 assists from 95 games across all competitions.
He continues to remain an undisputed starter when fit, but his future is uncertain amid his contract expiring next summer.
According to Onze Mondial, the Gunners are keeping tabs on the striker's situation alongside the likes of AS Roma and AC Milan.
It is added that they may propose a pre-contract for his services when the transfer window reopens at the beginning of the year.
Azmoun has been linked with a Premier League move on several occasions. He was previously on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur.
Meanwhile, the Gunners are braced for the exit of Alexandre Lacazette next summer when his contract reaches its conclusion.
They are reportedly eyeing a Premier League-based replacement, but it appears that Azmoun could also be a realistic option.
