Origi to Barcelona?

Barcelona have reportedly been offered the opportunity to sign Divock Origi when the transfer window reopens.

The Belgian is out-of-favour at Liverpool. He has been limited to just 151 minutes for the Merseyside giants.

His current deal expires in nine months' time, but it is widely claimed that he could leave at the beginning of the year.

A move to Bundesliga has been touted in recent weeks, but it is now reported that the player's agent has contacted Barca.

It is unclear whether the Blaugrana will make an approach to sign him as they are eyeing more high-profile additions.

The club can't spend over €20m on permanent deals due to their excessive wage budget above the La Liga-imposed salary limit.

However, they are still permitted to negotiate loan moves. The club are likely to make a couple of big-name signings in January.

Manchester City's Raheem Sterling and RB Leipzig's Dani Olmo have been linked with potential winter moves to the Blaugrana.
