Liverpool and Manchester United keen on Serie A striker?

Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly among the clubs interested in signing Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic.

The Serbian bagged 21 goals in the Serie A last term. He has continued his fine form this season with four goals from seven outings.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the striker could leave Fiorentina in January after rejecting a new contract beyond June 2023.

Manchester City are deemed to be leading the race to sign him, but there are plenty of other clubs in the running for his services.

Both Liverpool and United are monitoring the proceedings of the marksman, who is valued at more than €70 million.

The Reds have Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi in their ranks, but the latter is expected to leave in January.

Vlahovic has a keen eye for goal, and he could be an upgrade on the duo while offering the physical presence up front.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been the go-to man for United, but there are plans to pair him alongside another striker next season.

Erling Braut Haaland is deemed the prime target, but Vlahovic could also be an option. La Viola are ready to sell him in January.
