City set asking price for Raheem Sterling

Manchester City have reportedly set their asking price for Raheem Sterling amid interest from Arsenal and Barcelona.

The England international has been a key figure for the Cityzens, but his playing time has significantly reduced this term.

He has made just three Premier League starts, and recently acknowledged that he may need to pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere.

The Gunners and Blaugrana have been credited with an interest, and Marca claims that the Cityzens want at least £65 million.

They could cash in on him as early as the January transfer window as he will enter the final 18 months of his contract.

Sterling has been contacted by club chiefs over a new deal, but the attacker has no plans of prolonging his stay for now.

The Blaugrana are facing financial difficulties at the moment, and they may only afford to sign him on loan in January.

It is also unclear whether the Gunners can afford the attacker mid-season unless they recoup funds from player sales.
