Chelsea to recall Billy Gilmour from Norwich City?
Chelsea could recall midfielder Billy Gilmour amid his reduced playing time at Norwich City.
The Scotland international joined the Canaries on a season-long loan during the summer transfer window.
He was a regular starter during the early weeks of the season, but has been an unused substitute lately.
Canaries boss Daniel Farke recently emphasised that he has no obligations to hand playing time to anyone.
He added that the club are focused on avoiding relegation, and rather than developing opposition players.
The Blues' hierarchy are unimpressed with Farke's comments, and are expected to recall Gilmour in January.
The 20-year-old is regarded as one of the Blues' best young prospects, and he could be loaned out elsewhere.
He has impressed whenever he has played for the Blues, but Thomas Tuchel can't assure him regular game time.
Jorginho, N'Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Saul Niguez and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are ahead of him in the pecking order.
Similar to Gilmour, Brandon Williams has also faced the same fate, and he could be recalled by Manchester United.
