Chelsea receive quadruple injury boost for Newcastle clash

Chelsea have received a quadruple injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Newcastle United this weekend.

The Blues were without N'Golo Kante, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta for the midweek Carabao Cup tie against Southampton.

All three players have returned to training ahead of the Magpies game. Alongside them, Christian Pulisic was also involved.

The USA international has not played for the west London giants since the opening weekend of the Premier League season.

He picked up an ankle injury on international duty in September, and has since been out of action after suffering a setback in between.

Pulisic appears to have finally overcome his concern, and he could make the matchday squad for the upcoming trip to St James' Park.

The Blues are currently on a three-match winning run in the league. They recently registered a stunning 7-0 win over Norwich City.

The club are still just one point ahead of Liverpool at the top of the standings, and have no room for errors this weekend.
