Tottenham Hotspur enter race to sign Arsenal striker target
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined Arsenal in the race to sign Torino striker Andrea Belotti next year.
The Italy international has been with the Serie A outfit for the past six years, but he is now eyeing a bigger challenge.
With his contract expiring next summer, he can sign a pre-contract with a foreign club during the January transfer window.
According to Tuttosport, Spurs have revived their interest in the marksman amid the uncertain future of Harry Kane at the club.
Kane stayed put amid the transfer speculation over the summer, and his form has significantly dipped with just one league goal this term.
He could head for the exit door soon, and the club are already looking into a replacement. They have their sights on Torino's Belotti.
They are still expected to face plenty of competition. Spurs' cross-town rivals Arsenal have also been credited with an interest.
The Gunners see the Italian as a potential replacement for Alexandre Lacazette whose contract expires at the end of the season.
