Arsenal to miss out on Serie A attacker?
Fiorentina are reportedly leading Arsenal in the race to sign Sassuolo attacker Domenico Berardi.
The Italian has been in fine form this season, bagging five goals and three assists from 10 league games.
He has been fancied to leave Sassuolo in the near future, and the Gunners are said to be among the admirers.
They are planning a winter approach, but Calciomercato claims that La Viola are leading the race to sign Berardi.
The Florence outfit have already agreed personal terms over a contract worth £3m per year until June 2026.
The 27-year-old is keen on pursuing a bigger challenge. However, he prefers to continue in the Italian top-flight.
La Viola are willing to meet the £34m price tag. The funds could be recouped from Dusan Vlahovic's exit.
Vlahovic has declined a new contract beyond June 2023, and the club are resigned to losing him in the near future.
Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City have been linked with the marksman, who could cost around £55m.
