Arsenal to replace Nicolas Pepe with Serie A winger?
Arsenal could replace Nicolas Pepe with Dejan Kulusevski during the January transfer window.
Pepe is currently deemed surplus to requirements under Gunners boss Mikel Arteta, and he could leave in January.
Amidst this, Calciomercato reports that the north London club are keen on pursuing Kulusevski from Juventus.
The Swede has played only 400 minutes of league football thus far, and he is eager to leave the Bianconeri this winter.
The Turin giants are ready to sell him for around £30m. The Gunners could face competition from Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs were keen on landing Kulusevski earlier this summer and they are still considered as potential favourites to land him.
Sporting director Fabio Paratici worked at Juventus for over a decade, and he was responsible for signing the Swede.
The Gunners have had an impressive first half to the campaign, and are currently fifth in the league standings after 13 games.
The club are only goal difference behind fourth-placed West Ham, and look genuine contenders for Champions League football.
