Barcelona have become the latest European club to be linked with Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.

The German has entered the final six months of his contract, and has no plans of extending his stay with the Blues.

He is eyeing a wage package of £200,000-a-week, but the Blues' hierarchy are clear that they won't meet his demands.

The board are only willing to offer around £140,000-a-week. The centre-back feels 'disrespected' by the club's proposal.

The 28-year-old is currently free to negotiate a pre-contract with a foreign club. Juventus, Bayern and PSG have all been linked.

However, according to Sky Sports News, Barcelona are also in the player's hunt as they are eyeing more free transfer signings.

The Blaugrana signed the likes of Memphis Depay, Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia on Bosman deals earlier in the summer.

The club are currently under a La Liga salary cap amid their extravagant spending in recent years. They can't spend without player sales.
