Manchester United keeping tabs on Liverpool target
Manchester United were reportedly monitoring the performance of Porto winger Luis Diaz on Sunday evening.
The 25-year-old has made a big impression in Portugal over the past three years. He has bagged 16 goals and six assists in the current season.
His progress has caught the eye of Liverpool and Chelsea, and it appears that the Red Devils have now entered the pursuit of his services.
They were recently monitoring his display against Famalicao, but were not alone with Atletico and Borussia Dortmund also sending scouts.
The Red Devils don't require any attacking reinforcements at the moment, and the focus is on potential departures before the end of the month.
Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard could head for the exit door. It has been claimed that there will be no incomings before the transfer deadline.
While Ralf Rangnick would like to bring in players, the hierarchy are ready to wait until the summer when they appoint a permanent manager.
