Arsenal interested in signing Serie A striker?
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen before the transfer window closes on Monday.
The Gunners were fancied to sign Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic earlier this month, but he has opted to join Juventus instead.
Alexander Isak was highlighted as the alternative, but he may not join the club either. Real Sociedad want his €90 million release clause paid in full.
Hence, the north London giants are looking at other options, and Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Osimhen is a player under their consideration.
The Nigeria international has endured an injury-plagued second season, but he has still impressed with nine goals and two assists from 16 matches.
The 23-year-old is now fully fit after a cheekbone fracture. Napoli have no plans to sell him unless they receive an offer of €70 million.
It is unclear whether the Gunners can afford the fee. The club are not in a position to pay the entire sum in a single instalment.
