European giants enter race to sign Arsenal striker

Aubameyang set for Arsenal loan exit

Barcelona and Juventus are looking into a loan deal for Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The 32-year-old is deemed surplus to requirements by Mikel Arteta, and he has been left out of the Dubai training camp.

He looks set to leave on loan before Monday's deadline, and The Athletic claims that there are two offers on the table.

Juventus and Barcelona are both keen on signing him on loan, but the former could be favourites to land his signature.

The Gunners want the striker's £350,000-a-week wages paid in full while they may want an optional buy clause included.

Aubameyang was recently the subject of interest from Al Nasr, but a deal did not materialise due to the forward's preference.

The Saudi club were willing to meet the Gunners' demands, but the former captain wanted to continue playing in Europe.

Aside from Aubameyang, Eddie Nketiah could also leave the Gunners. Newcastle United have entered talks to sign him.

The north London giants are bound to pursue a new striker in the coming days.
