Manchester United have been handed a much-needed injury boost ahead of the FA Cup fourth round tie against Middlesbrough.

The Red Devils have endured a mixed run of fortunes under interim boss Ralf Rangnick, but they are still fourth in the league standings.

Ahead of the restart, they have received a timely boost with Paul Pogba back in full training after a three-month absence with a thigh injury.

The midfielder has been working with his teammates for nearly a month. He could now make his comeback to competitive action.

The Red Devils are set to host Boro in the FA Cup fourth round on Friday. Pogba could make his first appearance since November.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that the hierarchy are still hopeful of committing Pogba to a new contract beyond June this year.

He has been asked to delay his future decision until they appoint a permanent manager. Pogba can sign a pre-contract with a foreign club.
