Chelsea leading the race to sign Leeds United attacker?
Chelsea are reportedly leading the race to sign Leeds United attacker Raphinha this summer.
The west London giants have spent significant fees on attacking players in recent years, but they have still struggled to find consistency in front of goal.
Ahead of the summer, there is speculation that Christian Pulisic and Timo Werner may leave. This could pave the way for a new forward signing.
Raphinha currently has a release clause worth €75m on his contract, but he could be available for just €25m if Leeds are relegated from the top-flight.
Barcelona and Arsenal are also interested in the Brazil international, but Football Transfers report that the Blues are leading the player's pursuit.
Raphinha has just over two years remaining on his existing deal, and reports claim that he could push for an exit during the summer transfer window.
Leeds are still optimistic of renewing his deal, but the chances are very less, considering their poor season in the Premier League so far.
