Liverpool boss unsure over duo ahead of Carabao Cup final
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is unsure over the fitness of Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino ahead of the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea this weekend.
The Reds are in midweek Premier League action against Leeds United, but it appears unlikely that Jota or Firmino will feature.
Jota picked up an ankle injury against Inter Milan last week. Firmino, who replaced him, suffered a hamstring problem in the same game.
Both players were missing for the 3-1 Premier League win against Norwich City, and they are now big doubts for the League Cup final.
The duo have yet to return to training. The Merseyside giants are definitely sweating on their fitness ahead of the Wembley showdown.
Despite this, the Reds have plenty of quality in their attack with the presence of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and winter signing Luis Diaz.
Klopp opted to play with a 4-4-2 system in the second half against Norwich City where Diaz operated as a striker alongside Divock Origi.
