Thomas Tuchel confirms big injury blow for Chelsea
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed a fresh injury blow ahead of the Premier League clash at Norwich City.
The Blues recently secured a third-straight league win. James was the pick of the players with a goal and an assist against Burnley.
It was his first competitive start in 10 weeks following a muscle injury. It appears he has now suffered a setback in his other leg.
Tuchel told Chelseafc.com: "He has muscular problems in his other leg, not the previously injured leg, but he will still need some further assessment."
The news will come as a big blow for the Blues, who have lacked the creativity from the right wing-back role in James' absence.
Cesar Azpilicueta has done a credible job as the deputy, but the Blues captain does not possess the same attacking attributes as James.
Azpilicueta missed the Burnley trip with a minor injury. He has returned to training ahead of tomorrow's game at Carrow Road.
