Kane back on Manchester United's radar

Manchester United have revived their long-term interest in Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, according to The Athletic.

The Red Devils are expected to pursue a marquee striker this summer, having struggled up front during the second half of the campaign.

Cristiano Ronaldo has netted 18 goals in his homecoming season, but just four of those have come following the turn of the year.

Meanwhile, Edinson Cavani has suffered several injuries while Marcus Rashford has looked out of sorts in recent months.

Hence, the club are desperate for a world class striker and The Athletic reports that they could return for Kane during the summer.

Kane's current deal expires in the summer of 2024. It is claimed that he could be sold for £100m if he has no plans to renew.

United were interested in the England captain last summer, but could not afford a deal after the huge outlay on Jadon Sancho.

This time around, their priority lies on pursuing a striker. Kane, who has netted 22 goals this season, appears the prime target.
