Cristiano Ronaldo to push for summer Man Utd exit?
Cristiano Ronaldo could push for a move away from Manchester United this summer, according to Football Insider.
The Portuguese made a stunning return to the Red Devils last summer, and has since netted 18 goals across all competitions.
Despite his efforts, the club have failed to win silverware for the fifth-season running and they are now struggling in the league.
United are presently lying sixth in the Premier League table, four points behind fourth-placed Arsenal with a game in hand.
They face the possibility of missing out on the Champions League next season. This could pave the way for Ronaldo's exit.
According to Football Insider, United are aware that Ronaldo could push for a new challenge away from the club this summer.
In that case, they could decide to release him on a free transfer with the chance to save most of his £450,000-a-week wages.
Despite turning 37, Ronaldo has no plans of leaving European football. Paris Saint-Germain could be possible candidates to sign him.
