Arsenal striker target ready to leave this summer

Arsenal target Alexander Isak is prepared to leave Real Sociedad this summer if they fail to qualify for European football next season.

The Sweden international has endured a tough campaign with Sociedad, netting just five goals from 25 La Liga appearances.

Despite his lack of goals, he continues to remain on the radar of the Gunners, and a formal bid could be made during the summer.

According to Fichajes, Isak is ready to leave the La Liga outfit if they can not assure him with European football next campaign.

He currently has a release clause worth £75m on his contract, but Sociedad are likely to accept a much lesser fee this summer.

Sociedad increased his buy-out clause with a new deal last year, but things have not worked out for the marksman this term.

His poor scoring form has lowered his transfer valuation, and Sociedad are unlikely to receive any significant transfer offers.

While Arsenal hold a long-term interest in the Swede, he is said to prefer a move to Barcelona if the opportunity arises.
