Arsenal defender suffers season-ending injury

Arsenal have suffered a massive injury blow with Kieran Tierney ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.
The Scotland international picked up a knee injury on international duty, and subsequently missed the Gunners game at Crystal Palace.
In his absence, the Gunners suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat. It is now reported that the Scotland international is out for the rest of the season.
Tierney went to see a specialist earlier today. It has now been confirmed that he will require a knee surgery which will sideline him for months.
The Scot's absence is a huge blow for the Gunners in their top-four pursuit, but they have further problems to deal with for the season run-in.
Takehiro Tomiyasu has been out for months with a calf injury, and his return is uncertain. Meanwhile, Thomas Partey could be out for weeks.
The Ghanaian suffered a thigh injury against Palace last night. Mikel Arteta confirmed that it was a recurrence of his previous setback this term.
