Man Utd need to pay £84m for 28-goal striker
Manchester United need to pay around £84 million to sign Benfica striker Darwin Nunez this summer, A Bola claims.
The Uruguayan has been in splendid form for the Primeira Liga outfit this season, bagging 28 goals in all competitions.
This has grabbed the attention of elite European clubs, and A Bola claims that United are one of the clubs keen on signing him.
However, the Red Devils face a couple of hurdles. They will first need to qualify for the Champions League to lure him.
Elsewhere, he won't come on the cheap. With more than three years left on his contract, Benfica are set to demand around £84m.
Nunez was available for around £40m last summer, but his price tag has significantly increased over the current campaign.
Aside from United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Barcelona are also deemed to be keeping tabs on his progress.
There could be a big bidding battle for his services later this year.
