Arsenal eye free transfer for Bundesliga midfielder

Arsenal are considering the possibility of landing Hoffenheim midfielder Florian Grillitsch on a free transfer this summer, The Telegraph reports.
The Austrian has been with the Bundesliga outfit for the past four seasons, but has decided against penning a new deal beyond June 30.
The Gunners had made initial contact for Grillitsch in January, and The Telegraph reports that they are now eyeing a Bosman deal.
Everton and Leeds are also in the mix to land the Austrian midfielder, but the Gunners' main competition could be from clubs in Germany and Spain.
The 26-year-old is a defensive midfielder by trade, but has also operated in the back three this term. He has made 18 league appearances.
He could be a quality signing for Mikel Arteta's side, who are expected to reshuffle their midfield options ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
Mohamed Elneny will leave at the expiry of his deal this summer while Lucas Torreira could also be offloaded on a permanent basis.
