AC Milan make Romelu Lukaku transfer decision

Romelu Lukaku news

Lukaku won't be joining AC Milan

AC Milan have no plans of pursuing Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku during the summer transfer window, Gazzetta dello Sport claims.

The Belgian rejoined the Blues in a club-record £97m deal from Inter last summer, but has since struggled with just 12 goals in all competitions.

This has led to speculation that he could push for a fresh challenge. Milan were recently linked with an initial loan move, but have decided against it.

The Giallorossi have already agreed to sign compatriot Divock Origi on a free transfer. The Belgian's contract with Liverpool expires on June 30.

There are not planning to add another striker to the squad and have thereby ended their pursuit of Lukaku. The Belgian could still head for the exit door.

Paris Saint-Germain have been credited with an interest in recent weeks. They could move for him in the event of Kylian Mbappe leaving the club.

Mbappe has less than three months remaining on his contract. He has yet to decide whether to renew or secure a dream free transfer to Real Madrid.
