Chelsea defender could be fit for Man Utd clash
Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger could make his injury comeback against Manchester United on Thursday night.
The German has missed the past two games with a groin and hamstring problem, but he is set to return to training.
According to football.london, the centre-back will participate in full training on Tuesday ahead of the Old Trafford trip.
Thomas Tuchel will give an official update soon, but it appears likely that Rudiger could be deemed fit for the game.
Aside from the German, Reece James and Andreas Christensen could also be available to face the Red Devils on the road.
James was left out of the West Ham United clash on Sunday as he was struggling with a minor hamstring concern.
Meanwhile, Christensen was withdrawn from the XI with a stomach bug. Both players could be fit for Thursday's trip.
Chelsea are presently third in the league standings with 65 points, 11 ahead of United, who have played two more games.
