Man Utd keeping tabs on Italian winger
Manchester United are keeping tabs on Roma winger Nicolo Zaniolo ahead of a possible summer move, Calciomercato claims.
The Italian has had an injury-plagued career, but he has been fit for vast parts of the current campaign for the Giallorossi.
He has seven goals and eight assists to his name, and Calciomercato reports that United are keeping a close eye on him.
The Red Devils are likely to send their scouts to watch him in action when Roma face Leicester City in the Midlands tonight.
Zaniolo bagged a hat-trick against Bodo/Glimt to ensure the Giallorossi's progress to the Europa Conference League semis.
They are one of the favourites to win the competition and Zaniolo has another opportunity to shine against the Foxes.
The 22-year-old will enter the final two years of his deal this summer, but Roma are still expected to demand around €55m.
The price tag does not appear justifiable amid his injuries, and this could put off United, who tend to haggle over valuations.
