Arsenal weighing up £35m bid for Brazilian star?
Arsenal are preparing an opening bid for Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus, Daily Mail reports.
The Brazilian has had another fine season with the Cityzens, bagging 12 goals and 12 assists in all competitions.
Despite this, there are doubts over his long-term future, considering he has been in-and-out of the starting line-up.
The Gunners have recently emerged as front-runners to sign him, and it is claimed that they could offer £35m for his services.
Jesus will enter the final year of his contract this summer, and he has no plans of renewing at the current point of time.
Gunners technical director Edu Gaspar has been in talks with Jesus' agent for months and this could facilitate a summer move.
Jesus worked with manager Mikel Arteta when he was City's assistant. He also knows Edu, who was previously Brazil's general manager.
The forward is reportedly open to a reunion with the duo at Arsenal, but it may still depend on the club qualifying for the Champions League.
