Man Utd have monitored two Premier League midfielders
Manchester United were monitoring Ruben Neves and Yves Bissouma during the recent Premier League clash between Wolves and Brighton.
The Red Devils are expected to reinforce their squad this summer, and a new defensive midfielder is one of their main priorities.
According to Birmingham Mail, a senior United scout was in attendance at the Molineux to watch both Neves and Bissouma in action.
Neves had only returned after a lengthy injury, and hardly made an impact before he was substituted at the half-time interval.
However, Bissouma was much more effective. He won three tackles and also bagged Brighton's final goal in the 3-0 victory.
The midfielder also starred in recent wins over Arsenal and Tottenham, and he could be available for a knockdown price.
His current deal expires at the end of next season, and reports claim that he could be available for a fee of around £26 million.
United are likely to be alerted by the situation, but could face competition from long-term admirers Arsenal and Tottenham.
