Man Utd star could be fit for Brighton trip
Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has said that Harry Maguire could be fit for Saturday's Premier League clash at Brighton.
The centre-back has been out for the past few games with a knee injury, but Rangnick has hinted that he could return this weekend.
Speaking to BBC Sport, he said: "Harry Maguire might be available again. We have to wait and see if he can train the day after tomorrow."
Maguire and Raphael Varane have been the regular central defensive pairing with Victor Lindelof providing the back-up when required.
Lindelof has done a credible job alongside Varane in recent games, but Rangnick could reinstate Maguire back into the starting line-up.
The German tactician has been supportive of the club-captain amid fan criticism and will be hoping that he can end the season on a high.
United recently returned to winning ways with a 3-0 win over Brentford. It was their biggest margin of victory under the interim charge of Rangnick.
