Man Utd have discussed about two centre-backs
Manchester United have reportedly discussed the possibility of landing Pau Torres and Jurrien Timber.
The Red Devils are eyeing a new central defender, and there have been plenty of players linked over the past few weeks.
Among them, Torres and Timber have been regularly mentioned and Fabrizio Romano claims that they are being considered.
United recently held an internal meeting with manager Erik ten Hag where the duo were discussed as potential transfer targets.
The club have yet to make a formal approach for either, but a decision is expected soon after the final verdict of Ten Hag.
Ten Hag will have full authority over transfer dealings this summer. The focus will be on pursuing players that suit him.
In the past, United's hierarchy have signed players on their own, but that is unlikely to happen with Ten Hag at the helm.
The Dutchman will also make decisions over possible outgoings. A number of first-team stars could be shown the exit door.
