Corentin Tolisso seeks Premier League transfer
French midfielder Corentin Tolisso has revealed that he is looking for a transfer to the Premier League after the player's contract at Bayern Munich came to an end. The player arrived at the Bavarian side in 2017 but injury issues have made his first-team opportunities limited.
Arsenal, Tottenham, Everton and Manchester United are amongst the sides monitoring the player's situation, with all four sides keen to sign the midfielder. Tolisso himself revealed he would be ready to move to England, “I would be interested in England, with its intensity, but I’m not ruling out any league.
“I am convinced that [my issues] are more psychological than physical.
“It’s more in my head than with my body. I worked with a mental coach to put words to what I was going through.
“Now, I’m 5,000 percent convinced I can get back to a very high level physically. I’m going to do a one-month training period so that I’m ready for the start of next season.”
It is understood that Tolisso would prefer a move to London, and that a move to Arsenal appeals the most. The Gunners are rumoured to be looking for a potential successor to Granit Xhaka, who could make a transfer to AS Roma this summer.
