Arsenal striker agrees free transfer to French outfit
Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has reportedly agreed personal terms with Lyon ahead of his free transfer this summer,
The French outfit were keen on re-signing Lacazette at the beginning of the year, but the Gunners were clear that he was not for sale.
However, the 31-year-old is now free to leave with his contract expiring this month. He has reportedly agreed to rejoin his former club.
According to RMC Sport, a three-year contract has been finalised with Lyon, and Lacazette has informed the Gunners over the same.
If Lacazette leaves, Eddie Nketiah would be the only senior striker in the squad. He has apparently agreed a new five-year contract.
The Gunners graduate was in fine form during the final weeks of last season, but the club are still likely to pursue a couple of forwards.
Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus has been heavily linked, and could join them this summer despite the lack of Champions League football.
