Daily Mail reports Gabriel Jesus closer to Arsenal transfer move

The Daily Mail has reported that Arsenal are "very close" to securing a transfer deal for Man City and Brazil international striker Gabriel Jesus in a transfer package worth between 50-60 million euros. Alexandre Lacazette yesterday opted to transfer to his former club Lyon, leaving the Gunners short of attacking options.
The 25-year-old has been informed that he is free to leave Man City after the club signed Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, and a host of top clubs have expressed an interest in Gabriel Jesus including Tottenham, Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan.
It is believed that the Brazilian forward is ready to transfer to the Emirates despite the club's failure to secure Champions League football for the 2022/23 season.
Eddie Nketiah is poised to sign a new deal at Arsenal, leaving the Englishman as the only recognised striker at the club at this time. However, Gabriel Jesus will add sufficient Premier League experience and competition to the Arsenal squad as they pursue Champions League football once again next season.
