Arsenal keen on signing Netherlands attacker?

Arsenal are reportedly keen on landing the services of Barcelona attacker Memphis Depay this summer.

The Netherlands international had an injury-plagued debut season with the Catalan giants last term, netting just 13 goals and two assists.

Despite this, the Gunners are said to 'maintain an interest' and Mundo Deportivo cites that they are planning an approach for him.

Barcelona value him at around £34 million, but could accept much less, given he will soon enter the final year of his contract with the club.

The former Lyon star is currently not looking for a move away from Camp Nou, but Barcelona could push him towards an exit due to financial reasons.

They need plenty of funds to balance their books. Aside from Depay, they are also looking into parting ways with midfielder Frenkie de Jong.

The Dutchman has been tipped for a transfer to Manchester United, but he may need to be convinced as he is eyeing Champions League football.
