Wolves set asking price for Ruben Neves
Wolverhampton Wanderers have set their asking price for midfielder Ruben Neves, who is on the radar of Arsenal and Manchester United.
The Portugal international has been with the Midlands outfit for the past five years, but he is now eyeing a new challenge elsewhere.
He has turned down a renewal beyond June 2024, but The Telegraph reports that Wolves are still eyeing £70m to sanction his departure.
It remains to be seen whether any club meets their price tag. Arsenal and United seem to have other priorities at the current point of time.
Both have been admirers of the 25-year-old, but a deal is unlikely unless Wolves are willing to lower their price tag for the midfielder.
It may happen during the busy end of the transfer window, considering Wolves are not in a strong position to negotiate with interested clubs.
If Neves continues with them next season, they could potentially lose him for a knockdown fee as he enters the final year of his contract.
