West Ham interested in bringing in Armando Broja
West Ham are interested in Chelsea's striker Armando Broja. He is the first target for West Ham as a new striker.
Armando Broja was a pleasant surprise last season as he had a good campaign at Southampton on loan from Chelsea. The 20-year-old made 26 appearances for the Saints across all competitions, scoring 9 goals. The young Albanian quickly became a consistent starter for the team, and now, he is back at Chelsea for pre-season, with several clubs interested in signing him.
Thomas Tuchel remains intent on assessing Armando Broja in pre-season, and it's expected that a decision of keeping, selling or loaning the player will be made after the pre-season. With Chelsea struggling with the number 9 position, it's possible that if Tuchel likes Broja, the Albanian will stay at Stamford Bridge.
West Ham have started negotiations, but an agreement is not close to happening any time soon. They are interested in signing the striker on a permanent deal. The fee is expected to be around £25/30 million. Napoli are also a club that is interested in Armando Broja.
