Chelsea not giving up on Ousmane Dembele
Chelsea remain optimistic of landing Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele this summer, according to Sport.
The Frenchman's current deal with the Blaugrana expires on June 30, and he has yet to agree to a renewal.
It looks likely that he will walk away from the club, and this should allow the Blues to negotiate his transfer.
Thomas Tuchel's side are free to discuss terms with Dembele, but are willing to wait patiently until his contract expires.
Meanwhile, the Blues' pursuit of Raheem Sterling is unlikely to have any impact on the club's interest in Dembele.
While both of them are specialist wingers, Tuchel is prepared to play Sterling as a potential number nine next season.
Aside from Sterling and Dembele, the club are also interested in signing defender Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus.
The Dutchman has apparently handed in a transfer request, and the Blues could sign him in a part-exchange deal.
Juventus want between €45-50m for his services alongside Timo Werner.
