Arsenal announce their third summer signing
Arsenal have confirmed their third signing of the summer transfer window with the arrival of goalkeeper Matt Turner from New England Revolution.
The Gunners struck an agreement for the shot-stopper back in January, and they have now officially presented him ahead of the pre-season campaign.
Mikel Arteta told the club's official website: "Matt is an experienced goalkeeper who will bring high quality to our squad."
With the arrival of Turner, Bernd Leno is widely expected to leave the club.
The German was keen on leaving the Gunners midway through last season, but Arteta was determined to keep him until the summer.
He is now about to enter the final year of his contract, and there have been suggestions that Fulham could be interested in signing him.
There is also said to be interest from several Bundesliga clubs, and Leno is likely to make a decision over the next couple of weeks.
Meanwhile, Turner becomes the Gunners' third summer recruit after the arrivals of Marquinhos and Fabio Vieira from Sao Paulo and Porto.
