Arsenal still interested in signing Youri Tielemans

Arsenal have not ended their pursuit of Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans this summer, according to CBS Sports.

The Gunners were tipped to make the Belgium international their first signing of the summer transfer window, but it has not been the case.

They have already signed three players in Marquinhos, Matt Turner and Fabio Vieira while Gabriel Jesus is expected to join in the coming hours.

Amidst this, there has been barely speculation involving Tielemans, but it is reported that the north London giants are still keeping tabs on him.

Tielemans will enter the final year of his Leicester contract next month, but the Foxes are still said to demand around £30m to sanction his departure.

The Midlands outfit are unwilling to negotiate on the fee and this has urged the Gunners to play the waiting game to lower their final valuation.

Arsenal could potentially make a late raid for the Belgian before the transfer window closes on September 1. Hopefully, there are no other bidders.
