Manchester United are keen on signing RB Leipzig striker Brian Brobbey, according to Bild.

The Red Devils are currently uncertain over the future of Cristiano Ronaldo, who has expressed his desire to leave the club.

The Portuguese wants to play Champions League football next season, and he could push for an exit before the transfer deadline.

Amidst this, Bild claim that new United manager Erik ten Hag would like a reunion with his former Ajax striker in Brobbey.

Brobbey started his career with Ajax, but moved to RB Leipzig on a free transfer last summer after the expiry of his contract.

However, he hardly played for the Bundesliga outfit and ended up rejoining Ajax on a short-term loan deal in January this year.

The 20-year-old made a good impression with seven goals under Ten Hag, and the duo could now be reunited at Old Trafford.

Ten Hag has already spoken with the striker, who dreams of playing for United. He could be signed for just £13 million.
