Barca to spend big this summer

After what can only be described as a very disappointing season for the Blaugrana, it is being reported in several papers today that Barcelona chiefs are set to spend big this summer and completely reshape the squad….whoever the manager may be.

DiarioSport has even gone as far as to say that Los Cules have a shopping list made up of some FORTY players! The familiar names of Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal), Benzema (Lyon), Dani Alves (Sevilla) and Ezequiel Garay (Racing Santander) are of course being linked with moves to the Camp Nou as they are during every transfer window.

One rumour that seems to carry slighly more weight is that Barcelona has expressed a definite interest in signing Deportivo La Coruna’s Argentine stopper Fabricio Coloccini. It has been reported from several sources that he has already agreed personal terms and is awaiting the two clubs to agree upon a transfer fee.

The board are keen for the team to secure major honours next season and would like to secure reinforcements for most, if not all positions.
