Jules Kounde agrees personal terms with Barcelona

Chelsea look likely to miss out on Jules Kounde with the Sevilla defender agreeing personal terms with Barcelona, as per AS.

The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in recent days, but they are not close to signing him.

A deal worth £55 million was finalised with the La Liga club, but they have yet to receive the green light from the player for the transfer.

Amidst this, Barcelona have entered the race and AS report that Xavi Hernandez has been in constant contact with Kounde.

The centre-back has now agreed personal terms with the Catalan giants, and seems on course to join them in the coming days.

Sevilla are yet to receive a formal transfer offer from the Blaugrana, but they have been informed that a proposal is on the way.

The news will come as a big blow for Chelsea, who missed out on signing Raphinha to Barcelona at the beginning of the month.
